Gomez Peer is a project that benchmarks on demand - companies pay Gomez for ranking their sites' availability, responce time and consistency. Gomez distributes the work throughout the world to computers that participate the project and shares the profit with users.

Here's what you need:

1. Register an account to Gomez Peer here.
- Choose your username, password and type your e-mail address. Make sure your referrer is OgiDogi.
- Select your computer and internet connection characteristics.
- Fill in the information for payment, such as names, country and payment method - PayPal, MoneyBookers or AliPay (Asia).

2. Download the installer (supported operating systems - Windows XP, NT, 2000 or 2003).

3. Install the client and run it. Wait a while as it downloads and installs Java. After it's ready, there appears Gomez window where you must fill in your account name, location and internet connection speed. Sometimes the window shows up again asking for your Gomez account name - probably some issue with write privileges on your computer.

4. Keep using your computer as usual, the client will retrieve and process data without you notice it. Each processed unit will bring 0.05 ¢ to your account. Single computer can make up to 10 ¢ daily and you can set up for your account as many computers as you have - more computers earn you more money but the maximum is $45 per month (hey, leave some work for the others!). You can see all the current rates here. After 2 weeks of pending your status should change to active if your computer has been online enough time and has processed certain amount of data. Sometimes it may take longer depending on the demand, the work you've done and your location.

5. At the end of every month you will automatically receive your payment (with certain delay for Gomez to process all payments) in case you have reached $5 else the collected money will be transferred for the next month.

6. Each new member referred by you will bring onetime $1 to your account after becoming active.
